Ann Turkel
Her home is with Samantha (above) as well as Olivia at Beverly Hills. They were married for only 8 years before they were divorced for a total of 20 years. Ann Turkel is still struggling in a state of denial over her divorce from husband, Richard Harris. Turkel was born into an ethnically Jewish family and raised by their mother, who lived in Manhattan. Her passion for entertainment has not waned. Ann began dance lessons in the age of five as well as her study of the arts remained throughout her college. She credits her grandmother for helping her pursue artistic pursuits. Ann is a vocalist, dancing, and acting since the age of her first child. In the age group of 16, Ann had studied at the Musical Theatre Academy and the Neighborhood Playhouse with some of famous acting teachers throughout the city such as Sandy Meisner and Philip Burton. When she was in high school, Ann started singing with her classmates and joined an all-rock and roll ensemble. In Stockbridge, Massachusetts she also had a summer time at Berkshire Playhouse performing plays like The Pajama Game and West Side Story. Ann's show with her band at a fashion show was the first time Gloria Schiff, editor of Vogue Magazine, discovered Ann. Within a week editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her very first Vogue cover with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann went on to become one of the most wanted models in America. She was featured as a cover-model for the top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. Ann modeled successfully for cosmetic firms like Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe in the following two years.
