Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her for the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father came from an ethnically Jewish origin. She has also a half-sister named Sunyata Jubal. Ryder's younger sibling is Uria. Ryder's parents moved her along with their children to Mendocino County California when Ryder was seven years old. Here, they did not have electricity. There was no television books was her only source of entertainment to pass the time. Eventually, she began to read extensively. In 1983 when she was 12 years old, Ryder enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas was let go in 1986. Ryder, who was only 15, landed a role as a leading actor. Ryder was bullied throughout her time in high school. Her thought was that by becoming an actor, her bullying was going to be corrected. But, unfortunately, that didn't occur. However, it didn't stop her from following her dreams. Her biggest break occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder played parts that proved successful in several movies. She was nominated for two Academy Awards one for her role as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
