Summer Glau was an American actor who was famous for her character River Tam in Firefly, the critically-acclaimed TV series. In addition, she portrayed Cameron for the role of Cameron Terminator. In the series, she played Sarah Connor Chronicles. The Sarah Connor Chronicles also featured her in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. She has also acted in TV films and shorts like Mammoth, The Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon, Help for the holidays Dead End and Inside the Box. Glau has received several honours and awards to date. Glau was included twice in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World and also in the Wizard magazine's Sexiest Women of TV list. Maxim has also included Glau as an American as part of its Hot 100. Coming to her acting accolades Glau has been awarded an SFX Award for Best Actress for Serenity. The film she starred in Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles was rewarded with to the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three children that were the children of Marcela the wife of Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena aged eighteen, she began a career in a band created by her dad. Selena along with her siblings Abraham junior and Sister Suzette also played the drums. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino, the band that she performed with was nicknamed Selena Y Los Dino. They also performed at wedding fairs and as in restaurants. The group was extremely demanding for Selena and her family, which is why they did not have a childhood but they had the opportunity to develop into dedicated musicians because of determination from Their father Abraham. Abraham senior performed in Los Dinos, the first band. Selena Y Los Dinos officially began in 1981. The group was a company of the family and was the primary source of income from the family. Quintanilla's clan remained strong through early years of financial hardships. Selena Y Los Dinos became very popular across the western states in the mid-year. Selena was awarded the Female Vocalist Award and the Performer's Year award at the Tejano awards in the year 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos became well-known and recognizable at this time. There were many Spanish languages on TV including El Show De Johnny Canales always in Domingo (Saturday Night Gigante) and El Show De Johnny Canales always on Sundays, were shown.
